Aperture is the world's preeminent organization for photography in NYC. My goal was to rethink the architecture of the website to expose important content and make key pages easier to access, as well as connecting the dots between editorial content, e-commerce, and events. To start, I conducted market research and created a new site map to rethink the user experience. Then, I developed a design that focused on simplicity and large images to showcase the Aperture's beautiful photography. I added features such as a mega menu to make it easier for users to access key pages and added clear call to actions to drive engagement. Overall, the redesign was a success and resulted in an increase to both website traffic and sales.
